Below are some links and details about some wonderful celebrants for those who are looking for an alternative service or celebration....
I am a creative artist/singer/sonwriter so I have an eye of detail and an ear for a story.....
In September 2014, I completed the Level 3 Diploma in Funeral Celebrancy. I then went on to complete the Level 3 Diploma: Naming and Couples early in 2015.
This means I am able to plan, create and conduct naming ceremonies, all types of wedding ceremonies, vow renewals and funerals. I always like to focus on the more positive and uplifting aspects of all these events and I feel it is a great privilege to be able to do so.
I love working with people to create and deliver very personal, meaningful and memorable ceremonies. My role is to get across their personalities and stories in their ceremonies. I take great pride in this.
There are many misconceptions about what a Celebrant does. Firstly, I am not a Humanist. Humanists do not believe in any faith at all and so do not include hymns or prayers. I am not restricted in this way and can include whatever the client wants.
Poems, readings and music are also important in the ceremonies and can make a huge difference.
